Hello from the small European country of Slovenia.
Hi, I’m Slobodan - the guy behind Couch Electronics.
I live in Slovenia, a small country in Europe, where I design and build guitar pedals in my spare time. I don’t come from a marketing background, and I’m not trying to be the loudest name in the boutique pedal world. I just really love guitars, old-school gear, and making things with my hands.
My fascination with the electric guitar started when I was seven. I saw a black Ibanez JEM on a cassette tape cover from a Yugoslav rock band - and that was it. I was hooked. Ever since then, I’ve been drawn to music, design, and anything mechanical or hands-on.
Couch Electronics started as a way for me to bring some of those ideas to life. I build on the foundations of classic designs I love, and try to make them sound and feel right. Every enclosure, knob, and switch is custom-designed by me. It’s not about being flashy. It’s about making something that feels solid, personal, and maybe a little nostalgic.
I don’t believe in hype. I’m not going to tell you my pedals will change your life or unlock your true tone. I just put everything I know and care about into these boxes, and if something I’ve built speaks to you - I’m grateful. That’s enough.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out what I do. I hope you find something here that inspires you to pick up your guitar and make something honest, too.
